The generous LORD NEWLANDS donated this fine building in1896. He instructed the stonemasons to carve 'NEWLANDS PUBLIC SCHOOL' into the sandstone. Welcome all visitors! Teacher at Left is Presently Unknown:
Top Row of Boys (starting at Left beside Teacher - number 5 looks like Alan Perrins who eventually was moved with many other pupils to a new school in Easterhouse.

I believe the teacher in this photo is Mr Davies or Davis

The teacher is Mr Davis - he taught us ocaissionally - he was fairly braod Welsh if I remember.
