The generous LORD NEWLANDS donated this fine building in1896. He instructed the stonemasons to carve 'NEWLANDS PUBLIC SCHOOL' into the sandstone. Welcome all visitors! I am an old friend of Brentons and am currently residing in Melbourne. We are having a reunion of ex Army Apprentices next week and yes, it is too late I suspect, but some contact would be good if you are intersted in finding out about who si where etc.
